When I first arrived in Slovenia in the beginning of July 2020, little did I know that I would spent most of my summer here.
It wasn’t my first time in Slovenia, however, due the the routing via Frankfurt Airport and the flight from Frankfurt to Ljubljana, I was able to get some really nice pictures while flying over the mountains in Austria and Slovenia.
Having to work in an office during the day, left me with the evenings and nights to explore the surroundings of Lake Bled in the Oberkrain region. Slovenia is not a big country and therefore I was able to reach a lot of places after leaving the office before it got dark.
The capital Ljubljana is only 40 minutes from Lake Bled. A small European, historic, capital that has much to offer. Bars, Music, Shopping, Food and many other things to look at.
Like with all cities, it’s nice to experience them, however, there is so much more to see and do in country like Slovenia. Mountains, old castles, waterfalls and beautifully situated restaurants make this country a little „gem“.
